Bioimpedance test preparation instruction for the patient:


For the most accurate result, please observe the following pre-test guidelines:
         
          ◊
No alcohol consumption within 24 hours prior to taking the test.

          ◊ No exercise, caffeine or food with in 4 hour prior to taking the test.

          ◊ Drink 2 to 4 glasses of water 2 hours prior to taking the test.

 

The conductive medium of the body is water.   Following the instructions above will reduce the influence of temporary dehydration on the test results.    Please notify the technician if you think you may be pregnant, or if you have any implantable electronic devices like a pacemaker or defibrillator.
